Amish Crafted - Handcrafted Furniture
Amish Crafted is a unique company that
sells and promotes Amish-crafted furniture.
We deal with a small number of Amish furniture makers
in southern Minnesota and northern Iowa.
All of our furniture is made by individual
craftsmen, lending it character and style not
found in assembly line pieces. The furniture is
made to order for each customer, based on your specifications.
We want to build the right piece for you!
Amish craftsmen construction is done at the individual Amish shops
which have no electricity or power tools. They use table saws
run by belts that are powered
by a gas engine. Just a few hand tools including yankee drills,
hand planes, chisels, and quality hardwoods.
Hand tooling provides a unique and lasting beauty to each piece.
You can see and feel the difference. Because the Amish live in
rural and often isolated areas, it is not easy to find their shops.
Amish Crafted helps to connect the Amish
craftsmen with buyers who will appreciate
the quality and uniqueness of their furniture.
